Anna McKee at Francine Seders
Anna McKee’s four prints (a combination of etching, collography, and chine collé) offer a preview of the work she is making in response to her recent trip to Antarctica funded by the National Science Foundation Artists and Writers Program. This body of work will be featured in a show at the Seders Gallery in November. For McKee, history of place is recorded in strata, and this process is paralleled in her work as layers of line, color, and method tell their own story.
